Moulson’s two goals spark Islanders in road victory

The New York Islanders continued their impressive play on the road with a 4-1 victory in Boston Monday night.  Matt Moulson led the way with two goals and Goalie Dwayne Roloson frustrated the Bruins with 28 saves on 29 shots.  John Tavares added his NHL rookie leading 9th goal of the season as the Isles improved to 8-6-7 on the season.

Eddy Curry expected to Play when Knicks visit Indiana

He's Bacckk..now the question is, for how long?

Word out of the Knicks camp is Eddie Curry will be getting some playing time this Wednesday as the team travels to Indiana to play the Pacers. Coach Mike D’antoni will insert the center during the first half and monitor his progress. Curry who has overcome a number of issues off the court alongside battles with his weight has not played in almost a year and a half.  He however has lost a significant amount of weight training with fitness guru Greg Brittenham.

It was undeniably the best fight of 2009 thus far. The fighting pride of the Philippines Manny Pacquiao versus Puerto Rico’s own Miguel Cotto. Pundits around the world favored the supposedly stronger fighter of the two in Cotto, they felt strength beats quickness, that a good big man will beat a small good man every time. They were wrong.

Couldn’t have said it any better than Eminem…..

The much talked about Pats-Colts game from last night all stemmed down to one decision late in the 4th quarter by hated but admired Bill Belichick.

With the Patriots up 6 points, with the ball, on their own 28 yard line, with just over 2 minutes to play, New England was faced with a 4th and 2.  Common sense dictated that Belichick would elect to punt.  Nevertheless, the Patriots defied convention, choosing to leave the game in the hands of one of the sports most prolific Quarterbacks.
