Revenge is a dish sometimes best served warm

November 25, 2009

Marian Gaborik redirects for his league leading 19th goal

After a disappointing loss on Saturday at the Garden against the Florida Panthers in a game where the Rangers undoubtedly deserved the win, the Rangers were able to get redemption a few days later beating the Florida Panthers in a very strong all around performance by the Blueshirts.

It was good to see Chris Drury back on the ice after suffering a concussion on November 7th.  The team has been in disarray since he went down and they certainly missed his presence.

November 25, 2009

Stephen A. Smith is reporting that Allen Iverson plans to retire, despite feeling that he can still compete at a high level in the NBA.

The 10-time All-Star played three games this season with Memphis before taking a leave of absence to attend to personal matters. He was waived after the two sides agreed to part ways.  There was some discussions with the Knicks, but those halted rather quickly.

November 25, 2009

Looking for some inside information for betting tomorrow’s Thanksgiving football games? Yahoo! certainly has a tip for you. Based on their Week 12 NFL Scoreboard, the Packers will already have beaten the Lions 26-0. So, feel free laying the 11 points on the road because Green Bay will has already covered the spread with ease. NFL coaches always say how tough it is to win in this league, but the Pack have found a way to win without even playing. Thanks, Yahoo! sports.

A trip straight through Memory Lane part 3

November 25, 2009

Three the Hardway

Part 3 of 3- The epitome of hustle player, David Lee is what I would like to call a blue-collar worker. He never complains about his role, playing the center position despite his size disadvantage and night in night out you can expect him to compete. November 25, 2009

Denver fans aren't too happy with the 4-game losing streak

What a difference a month makes.

Everybody knows the story by now:  Broncos hire a young, inexperienced coach, trade away their star quarter back, bench their star wide receiver only to kiss and make up, miraculously start the season 6-0, and now have lost four straight.  At 6-4, and after relinquishing its’ division lead, the Denver Broncos are left looking for answers.  What once looked like a Superbowl contender, now looks like a team destined for an 8-8 finishing record.
