Eddy Curry expected to Play when Knicks visit Indiana

November 16, 2009

He's Bacckk..now the question is, for how long?

Word out of the Knicks camp is Eddie Curry will be getting some playing time this Wednesday as the team travels to Indiana to play the Pacers. Coach Mike D’antoni will insert the center during the first half and monitor his progress. Curry who has overcome a number of issues off the court alongside battles with his weight has not played in almost a year and a half.  He however has lost a significant amount of weight training with fitness guru Greg Brittenham.

“He hasn’t played in a year and a half, what he showed me was that he was in shape and he’s still rusty. He did pretty good.” coach D’antoni replied when asked about Curry’s status.

The Knicks need some depth at the center position and Curry will more than certainly provide that if he can regain his previous form.
