Shockey: Lebron couldn't cut it in NFL

After reports surfaced that future Knick, err I mean NBA star Lebron James said he has aspirations to someday play in the NFL, Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey has some thoughts of his own.  “King James wouldn’t cut it in the NFL on Sundays.”  That is what the talkative ex-Giant said via his Twitter account Wednesday night. “Everyone trust me Lebron James could not play in the NFL,” he wrote on his Twitter account. “ESPN is crazy to even think he could even make a practice squad. He’s no better than a 4.9  40 time.”

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is P*$$y!!!!!!!!!!!

November 19, 2009

Ask De la Hoya... You don't want it with Pacman

Yeah I said it…. I used to love the hype Floyd, real talk you were my favorite fighter since Tyson man. The Oscar fight when you wore the Mexican flag colors on your shorts, you brought the chicken out at the conference, that was classic. When you fought against Hatton I was at a bar in Manhattan and everyone was cheering for Ricky. On TV all you can hear were the chants from English supporters and the waving of the Union Jack. I was tight over that, we were in “our” country and America wasnt representing. Then you came out to Bruce fucking Springsteen, lip synching his Born in the USA lyrics before proceeding to whoop his ass.

my ranting after the jump…

November 19, 2009

MSG bound? Yes, according to AI

Allen Iverson has told associates he is prepared to come to the New York Knicks.

“We wouldn’t be considering it if we thought we were functioning well and we’re not,” Walsh said of the Knicks, who went into last night’s game against the Pacers with a 1-9 record. “And I want to make sure if we do something like this it’s the right thing to do.”

Walsh said if the Knicks do offer Iverson a contract it will likely be for the $1.4 million veteran’s minimum.

November 19, 2009

Curtis Granderson would excel as a Yankee. I guarantee it.

Yankees brass are internally debating which of their top three free agents — Andy Pettitte, Hideki Matsui and Johnny Damon — will they resign, and what moves could be made if they can’t.
