The Mets acquire Gary Matthews Jr.
January 22, 2010According to Jon Heyman at Sports Illustrated, the Metropolitans have traded for Angels center fielder Gary Matthews Jr. Heyman also reports that the halo’s will be paying roughly $21.5 million of the $24 million owed to Matthews over the next two season.
