Ron Artest has always been an Ill Will favorite since his days at St. John’s.  After a big game 7 from Ron Ron, he stepped into the booth to record his single, “Champion” which is sure to be a Billboard hit.

Without further ado, here is the latest musical release from Ron Artest: Read the rest of this entry ?

The White Mamba?

May 5, 2010

Kobe Bryant recently posed for LA Times Magazine in what can only be described as “unusual” outfits.   So unusual and awkward that I feel uncomfortable even posting this.  But I found it so hilarious that I had to share.

The Once and Future King

Please Lord... bring LBJ to NYC

The most consistent Knick has been Donnie Walsh. When he was hired to replace Isaiah Thomas he vowed to get the Knicks back under the cap for the cream of the crop free agency class of 2010, headed by Lebron James.  As of today the Knicks have the most money to spend this summer and can afford to add two hefty maximum contracts to their pay-roll.

"Quiet, for the serve"

The countdown is about to come to a close, and this tennis player was the most dominant athlete of the 2000’s.  Many lists picked Tiger Woods, Michael Phelps, or even Tom Brady to claim this spot, but many also did not realize what my number 1 athlete accomplished over the past 10 years.   As of September, 2009, he is ranked world number 1 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), having previously held the number one position for a record 237 consecutive weeks.   Many sports analysts, tennis critics, former and current players consider this athlete to be the greatest tennis player of all time and one of the greatest athletes the sports world has ever seen.

Even Lebron and Kobe were impressed

While different cities have different tastes, America as a whole generally shows favor to professional sports and college events over say a track and field race or a Bobsled event.  In New York, we care more about Baseball Hot Stove and the health of Sanchez’s knee than (insert random Olympic Figure Skater.)   Nonetheless, the number 5 athlete has been cited by most as the greatest Olympian the world has ever seen, and took the sports world by storm this past decade .  As of August, 2009, this athlete had broken 37 world records and holds the record for most gold medals won at a single Olympics.
