The Jets want Brandon Marshall

A day after signing LaDainian Tomlinson to a two-year contract, The New York Jets have now reportedly turned their attention towards Wide Receiver Brandon Marshall.  Mike Tannenbaum is no stranger to talented players with baggage, and Marshall is the next player in line that should not be viewed without hesitation.  Read the rest of this entry ?

Proud of the Jets

January 25, 2010

For a franchise that hasn’t been to a Superbowl in over 40 years, it is not easy to just say “we’ll get ’em next year.”   Yes, nobody expected Gang Green to be in this position, but these opportunities do not come every season (just ask Dan Marino.)

Nonetheless, except for a Superbowl victory, I cannot be happier with the Jets and what they accomplished this season.

J-E-T-S: Just extend the season

J-E-T-S…. JUST END THE SEASON

November 15, 2009

The New York Jets may have seen their playoff chances fly away Sunday as they lost 24-22 against a mediocre Jaguars team.  Despite first half struggles, the Jets were in prime position to win the game in the final minutes, with their 2nd ranked defense on the field leading by 1.  There were plenty of early mistakes and missed chances, but all could have been forgiven.  Instead, Bart Scott, Kerry Rhodes and the rest of the obnoxious Jets defenders let their fan base down.

“Embarrasing…just embarrasing” said Bart Scott after the game.

Embarrassing?  More like pathetic.
