Another FA that will not be coming to NY this July

The Portland Trailblazers and Marcus Camby have agreed to a 2-year contract extension, according to a statement by Portland GM Kevin Pritchard. As per team policy the terms have not yet been disclosed.

Camby 36,  averaged 7 points and 11 rebounds this year and was traded to Portland in the mid-season by the Los Angeles Clippers. The Knicks were going to attempt  to sign the UMASS alumni this July when he became eligible for free agency. During an interview with New York reporters last month, Marcus stated that the Knicks would definitely an option for him when free agency began.

The Trailblazer currently are up 1-0 against the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the playoffs.
