Miami and Jets both Win Big

April 14, 2010

Two 2nd round draft picks?? PEANUTS!

ESPN is reporting that Brandon Marshall has agreed to a four year, $47.5 million dollar contract with the Miami Dolphins. This will make Marshall the highest paid wide receiver in NFL history.

The Dolphins who traded for the problematic wide out for two 2nd round draft picks in 2010 and 2011, will finally have the deep threat to combat their rival Jets who just scooped up Santonio Holmes yesterday.

Despite being suspended last year for the start of the season, Marshal recorded 101 passes for 1,120 yards. This included a record setting 21 passes against the Colts, a game they subsequently lost.  Fifteen wide outs have played for the Dolphins the past three seasons, in that span Marshall out of Central Florida has more touchdowns and 100 yard receiving games then all of them combined.

Definitely a good pick up for the Fin’s as long as he stays out of trouble.

Also, get ready folks TONY Sports will be at next weeks NFL draft at Radio City Music Hall in New York, for days 2 and 3. We will be reporting live barring any setbacks from Roger Goodell. hahahahaha!
