“New York is where I was wanted, where I’m supposed to be.”

The Face of Change

My title for this article is verbatim from the Knicks starting point guard Toney Douglas, who said that after he was reminded that Jrue Holiday, the Sixers starting rookie point guard was picked ahead of him in last years draft. The Knicks have won a surprising two games in a row on the road after the former Seminole was promoted to the starting point guard position.

Thomas Jones- A product of the Jets offensive line

March 16, 2010

Good luck in KC...you're gonna need it.

Since the Jets signed LaDainian Tomlinson, most people have stated their belief that LT is done and washed up.  Last season, Tomlinson ran for just over 700 yards and 12 TD’s, a far cry from his career year of 1,800 yards and 31 touchdowns in 2006.  Furthermore, he was hurt two out of the last three years and was used less and less in the San Diego offense.  Read the rest of this entry ?

The Mets Spring Training Report: Volume 3

That’s refreshing for us.’’

Few doubted whether Bay could adapt to New York because he did such a great job in Boston replacing Manny Ramirez.  However, with the injury to Beltran, and the mysterious aura surrounding Jose Reyes, Jason Bay’s role just got larger, and a fast start from him will go a long way in erasing the dark cloud engulfing the Mets organization.   Read the rest of this entry ?

Sorry Gang-Green, this is Big Blue’s house!

March 16, 2010

Hakeem Nicks will lead Big Blue back to the promise land

Yes, we are 6 months away from football however, it is being reported that the right to host the first game at the New Meadowlands, Giants Stadium, Xanadu, whatever, belongs to…..THE NEW YORK FOOTBALL GIANTS!  The Giants will host Sunday afternoon and the Jets will have Monday Night Football.  Fair enough I guess.

Witnesses of the ceremonial coin toss were The Mara’s, The Johnson’s, Gov. Patterson, Giants Girl, Fireman Ed and the Miller High Life guy. LOL
