Will’s Week 13 NFL Picks

December 4, 2009

in the league where they play….for pay.  (que music)

10 teams, 5 games, 5 lines, 5 picks:  Bet at your own risk!!!

Last week: 2-2-1

Season: 9-8-3

Picks after the jump!!

Cowboys @ Giants:

The Giants are still banged up on defense, and now are banged up on offense as well.  Eli is playing hurt, their running backs are hurt and the running game has been non-existant anyways.  Furthermore, the Giants O-Line is hurting, so we could see a ton of sacks for Dallas.  The Cowboys have struggled against the Giants in recent years, but I think they win.  The G-Men dont have a linebacker that can cover Witten and I think Miles Austin has a huge game.

Take the Cowgirls, (-2.5)

Ravens @ Packers:

I’ve been anti-Packers all season, but their offensive line is playing better and their offense should be able to exploit the weak Ravens secondary.  Joe Flacco hasnt been able to do much lately, and although Baltimore should be able to run on Green Bay, I don’t think they’ll be able to put up enough points.  The Packers just have too many weapons on offense.

Take Green Bay, (-3)

Eagles @ Falcons:

You know the deal: Ryan is hurt, Turner is hurt, so I can’t see Atlanta winning this game.  The Eagles are flying high, and while the points scare me, I think Philly covers.  Desean Jackson will not play for the Eagles, but I expect Jeremy Maclin to have a huge game against the Atlanta corners.

Take the Iggles, (-5.5)

Vikings @ Cardinals:

Kurt Warner may not play, again, and Matt Leinart is going to have fits against the Vikings D if he plays.  Even if Warner is available, I don’t see the Cards winning this one, and Favre is just playing too well right now.  I think both teams will put up points, but the Vikings D will make enough plays to slow down ‘Zona at the end.

Take the Vikings, (-3.5)

Patriots @ Dolphins:

Man, the Pats have burned me on a few occasions, and the Patriots D looks horrendous, but when does New England ever have back-to-back bad games?  I think Belichick will force Henne into a few interceptions, and the ‘fins have nobody to cover Randy Moss and Wes Welker.  I can see a blow out here.

Take the Pats, (-4)

So that is the Cowboys (-2.5), the Packers (-3), the Eagles (-5.5), the Vikings (-3.5), and the Patriots (-4).
