Tiger Tiger Woods Y'all

I was on the train this morning and this couple was talking about the Tiger accident and how he owes America an apology. I swear I was about two seconds from going, “hey do me a favor and shut the f*ck up! ” Tiger owes no explanation to America or your TMZ watching a$$.

I was ready to blow and I began to feverishly write a blog post on my blackberry on how the media does nothing but report on celebrity gossip.  But during my morning web surfing I found this fantastic article by Michael Rosenberg of the Detroit Free Press, who basically summed up my feelings. Thanks Michael, you saved me about a million words and a ton of frustration.

The long Rhodes back

Kerry Rhodes celebrates with Revis and Eric Smith after catching his second interception against the Panthers.

Head Coach Rex Ryan went from demoting safety Kerry Rhodes, to hugging him after Sunday’s win against the Panthers.

Rhodes, who played in only nickel and dime packages this week after starting since his rookie season (74 consecutive games), responded with two interceptions in the Jets’ 17-6 victory at The Meadowlands.

Knicks drop another to Orlando

NEW YORK — Already with the best record in the Eastern Conference, the Orlando Magic might be getting even better.

Rashard Lewis seems to have found his form after a season-opening suspension.Lewis scored 13 of his season-high 26 points in the third quarter, and the Magic beat the New York Knicks 114-102 on Sunday night for their sixth straight road victory.”He got it going in the second half. That was nice,” Orlando coach Stan Van Gundy said. “It was the first time this year that he’s really gotten it rolling and that’s a good feeling.”
