Crosby had 3 goals and 2 assists last night against the Rangers
Article was taken from ESPN.com
PITTSBURGH — Sidney Crosby made the Penguins’ cap night giveaway at Mellon Arena an appropriate one.
Crosby had his fourth career hat trick and added two assists for his second five-point game and the Pittsburgh Penguins won for the fourth time in five games, 8-3 over the New York Rangers on Saturday night.

Not the return to Tampa Coach Tortorella envisioned
The Rangers traveled to the St. Pete Times Forum on Saturday night to play the Tampa Bay Lightning where the Lightning have played exceptionally well this year holding a record of 5-1-4. If we break this down, this means that when the Lightning play at home, in 90 percent of their games, they have emerged with at least one point. In order for the Rangers to win tonight it was obvious they needed to play at an extremely high level for the entire game.

T.O.N.Y is not responsible for your betting blunders...
Another tough weekend ahead—I only like a few games this weekend and just use simple logic– a lot of money was laid down on Thanksgiving, and Vegas, regardless of how they did yesterday compensates for this by toying with the weekend games. When this happens, always look for trap lines during the weekend as the book looks to rebound from Thursday. A lot of money was put on Denver as the spread went from -7 to -4.5 at one point, and since Denver won…
**9-8** Overall (Oakland shoulda covered yesterday)
Picks after the jump!

Marian Gaborik redirects for his league leading 19th goal
After a disappointing loss on Saturday at the Garden against the Florida Panthers in a game where the Rangers undoubtedly deserved the win, the Rangers were able to get redemption a few days later beating the Florida Panthers in a very strong all around performance by the Blueshirts.
It was good to see Chris Drury back on the ice after suffering a concussion on November 7th. The team has been in disarray since he went down and they certainly missed his presence.

Rangers are 4-9-1 in their last 14 games
The Rangers entered last nights game against the Florida Panthers with a 4-8-1 record in their last 13 games. With Florida playing 3 games in 4 nights, one would think that this is the perfect time to rout the ship, but the truth of the matter is that the Rangers just are not very good.
From the drop of the puck, the first 10 minutes belonged to the Panthers as the Rangers were getting out skated and outplayed from the get go. Truthfully, they looked like a team who had a few days between games because they were a step behind the quicker and younger Panther squad.

- NFL, NHL,College Football,Hocks, UFC!…what do I watch!…jdizzle will tell you
Saturday-
12:00 pm Michigan vs. Ohio St.—Yes, this game does not have the hype surrounding it as it once had, but it is still once of college’s greatest rivalry’s and if Rich Rodriguez is to stay in Ann Arbor he knows what he has to do today: Not only win, but win convincingly.

1:00 pm Knicks vs. Nets—Hey, somebody’s gotta win. Knicks and Nets don’t deserve high fives…
7:00 pm Panthers vs. Rangers- Rangers had a tough week of practice. Henrik Lundqvist and Gaborik can not do it by themselves. The Rangers will need help from Kotalik, Del Zotto, and the Captain Chris Drury who returns after suffering a concussion on November 7th. Dubinsky will be out, so someone is going to have to help Gaborik out offensively otherwise the Rangers could start sliding quick.
7:30 pm - Cal vs. Stanford- Stanford over the last two weeks have put up ridiculous offensive numbers against USC and Oregon, two of the best teams in the conference. With a win against 25th ranked Cal and losses by Oregon, Oregon St, and Arizona in the remaining games can give the Cardinals a Rose bowl birth. Gotta root for the geeks, sorry folks.

The Rangers were able to escape numerous scoring chances on the road against the Senators and sneaked out of Ottawa with a 2-1 shootout victory.
It was a complete team effort to even push the game to a shootout as the Rangers were called for a penalty in OT. Kotalik was called for tripping with 1:23 left giving the Senators a 4-3 man advantage. Ottawa forced the pressure with shot after shot, but each time Callahan and Staal showed complete disregard for their bodies, throwing themselves in front of the blazing shots from Spezza and Lee.

The Rangers lost another game last night to the Atlanta Thrashers to a score of 5-3. Iyla Kovalchuk returned to action for the Atlanta Thrashers after being sidelined for 2 weeks after being hit with a puck in his foot. He returned alright, scoring a goal and adding 2 assists carrying the Thrashers to the victory.
